In our experiment, we set out colored bowl traps and observed live flower specimens for pollinators. The purpose of the study was to determine which colors attract the pollinators most. We were able to prove that yellow and light colors tend to attract the most pollinators.

However, other variables may also be a crucial factor, namely location and time of day. These uncertainties were most visible in our Pollinator Count Survey.

In conclusion, we learned that there are many different types of pollinators; the role is not exclusive to just bees. We also learned about their scientific classifications, such as the general orders Hymenoptera and Diptera.

Another question we could potentially examine is whether or not pollinators prefer to go out at certain times of day.

We hope that you found our experiment interesting and we hope that it is something you want to try out for yourself! Thank you :)
