experiment one

Out of 25 collected specimens, the yellow colored bowl attracted 12, or 48%; the light blue bowl attracted 11, or 44%; and the dark blue bowl attracted 2, or 8%.

Therefore, the yellow colored bowl attracted the most pollinators.

experiment two

​

out of 53 collected specimens, the yellow bowl attracted 20, or 37.7%; the light blue bowl attracted 12, or 22.6%; the purple colored bowl attracted 10, or 18.9%; the dark blue attracted 7, or 13.2%; and the pink attracted 4, or 7.5%.

interestingly, the light blue bowl attracted less specimens in the second experiment, when two more colored bowls and honey were added to the procedure.

our final experiment

in our second experiment, we used five colors and added honey to the bowls. this experiment is the main bulk of our data.

in both experiments, the yellow colored bowl attracted the most pollinators.
